Missouri's indoor season is often uneventful within the state as it does not feature many large meets in-state or a state championship meet. The majority of Missourian athletes opt out of an indoor season.
As a result, athletes in Missouri most often either travel out of state to compete or take part in one of the few meets at Northwest Missouri State, Southeast Missouri State, or the University of Missouri. Missouri Southern State and University of Central Missouri do not host high school meets anymore.
Below we have six nominees for Boys Indoor Performer of the Year. Voting will remain open until Friday, March 28th at 12:00pm.

Jackson Cantwell - Nixa - Cantwell threw the shot at one meet this winter, but it was a big mark nonetheless. His 21.89m (71-9.75) performance at the Northwest Missouri Open Meet #3 was good enough to be a US No. 1 mark by just over 5 feet.
Carson Driemeier - Festus - The Festus junior, coming off a Class 4 State Cross Country victory, turned heads in the lone indoor meet of his 2025 season when he ran 9:06.28 for 3200 meters at the Mizzou Elite HS Distance Invitational. It was an all-time MO No. 2 3200/2 Mile mark indoors.
Caelan Harland - Macon - Harland cleared 5 meters (16-4.75) at the New Balance Indoor National meet, good enough for fourth place there. He cleared 4.8 meters (15-9) in all four meets he contested.
John Moss - Hickman - The super sophomore posted marks of 7.00, 21.73, and 49.14 in the 60, 200, and 400 meter dashes. The latter two performances were MO No. 1 marks this indoor season.
Tomas Gonzalez - Blair Oaks - Gonzalez hit a lifetime personal best 5m (16-4.75) at the Be Your Best Meet #3 at Washburn University in Kansas. He is chasing his first ever gold medal in the Pole Vault this spring, but will have to best the athlete who has already bested him three times prior in his career.
Jackson Miller - SLUH - Another super sophomore, Jackson Miller nearly broke his lifetime best in the Mile this indoor season when he ran 4:12.81. His 1K time of 2:32.50 is a State record in the event.
