MAAA CONFERENCE TRACK MEET

To: MAAA Track Coaches and Athletic Directors
Information for the 2015 MAAA Conference Track Meet, hosted by Potosi High School
1. Date and Starting Times: Friday, May 1st. The coaches meeting will be held in the
Middle School cafeteria at 3:30. Please make your scratches and changes at this meeting. Field events will begin at 4:00 and running events at 5:30.
2. Entries/Coaches Meeting: Make your entries at momilesplit by Tuesday, April 28th-Midnight. Each team is allowed 2 individuals per event and one relay team. We will have a Coaches meeting on Wednesday, April 29th at 6:30 in the Potosi Middle School Gym.
3. Timing: Provided by Championship Timing.
4. Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in all events. A plaque will be
awarded to the first place Boys and Girls school.
5. Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (all events)
6. No Prelims in Running events
7. Field Events: They begin at 4:00. Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump and Triple Jump number of attempts will be decided at the April 29th meeting. Starting heights, increments, etc. for the High Jump and Pole Vault will also be decided at the coaches meeting.
8. Track Information: Spikes should be no longer than 3/16 inch needle. Discus and
Shot Put rings are concrete and located by the practice football field. Starting blocks
will be provided.
9. Starter: TBD
10. Rain Date: Monday, May 4th
11. Concessions: There will be a concession stand available. Coaches and Bus drivers will have a hospitality area in the Middle School cafeteria.
12. Games Committee: All Head Coaches not involved with the problem.

Boys and Girls Triple Jump Meet Worker-Ste. Gene
Boys and Girls Long Jump (after Triple Jump) Meet Worker-Farmington
Athletes should complete run-throughs by 4:00 and complete jumps by 5:30
All running events will be girls followed by the boys
