Meet Information

Festus McCullough-Douglass Invitational 2021

Coaches and Athletic Directors:

Thank you for choosing to participate in the 2021 McCullough-Douglass Invitational. We are excited to have the opportunity to again host competitions for our athletes.  As you are reviewing the meet information, please give attention to the protocols below. Things have to look a little different this year, but we are confident that we can still provide a top notch experience for you and your athletes.

Covid Protocols

1-  We will use a time schedule this year.  This will allow for us to control the number of athletes in the bullpen, staging area, on the track, and at the field events.  We will NOT run ahead of schedule under any circumstances.  The process for athlete check-in will be discussed at the coaches meeting.

2-  All athletes are expected to remain in their team camps (tents) unless they are warming up in designated areas or competing.  Clusters of athletes around the facility will be instructed to return to their team camp.  We ask that coaches help to monitor this throughout the meet.

3- Masks are expected to be worn by all athletes and coaches, unless warming up or competing.

4- The football field is completely off limits for spectators and athletes, unless warming up. It will be used for a bullpen, staging area, coaches boxes, and designated warm up zone.  Numerous staff members and parents will be on hand to strictly enforce this expectation.

5-  Combatting Covid is an individual and team responsibility as well.  We ask that you and your athletes are considerate of others when choosing where and how to establish your team camp.

6-  A decision on spectators will be made the week before the Invitational and will be communicated out to all athletic directors.
