Branson Jr. High Tri-Lakes Relays

1. April 5th, 2022

   The Branson Tri-Lakes Relays will be held Tuesday, April 5th at Branson HighSchool. A coach's meeting will be held at 3:30 in the Activities Center meeting room. Field events will start at 4:00 and running events at 4:30. We will have five teams: Branson, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, and Reeds Spring.

   Please note, this year we are using the www.mo.milesplit.com website to manage all entries in our meet. When you are prompted to enter a password use: bransonjh . Entries are due no later than 9:00 a.m. on April 5th.

   General Information:

   1. The entry fee is $75.00 per grade or $150.00 for all four teams. (teams that have arranged to trade entry fees can disregard).
   2. 1. Three individual entries per event. (Pole Vault and High Jump only TWO entries)Relays will only have one entry per team.
   3. 1. Please have spikes no longer than 1/8th inch.
   4. 1. Field events will be run cafeteria-style. Each athlete will have 3 throws or jumps. There will be no finals.
      2. All events will be finals. NO preliminaries.
      3. Medals will be awarded to the first three places and a plaque to the first-placeteam in each division.
      4. We ask that your team stay in the main stands at all times unless warming up.There will beno spikes in the bleachers. No glass bottles in the bleachers.
2. 1. Blocks will be furnished.
   2. Shot Put and Discus area will be marked off and no one will be allowed in thoseareas until the event begins.
   3. Athletes should listen for their event to be announced over the P.A. Each participant must report by the 3rd and final call of the event. If your athletes are in multiple events and cannot report right then, please let the field judge know.
   4. Each athlete will be allowed to enter4 events(as long as one is a field event).

Order of Field Events:

• Boys Long Jump 7th/8th: Girls Triple Jump 7th/8th:
• Boys Pole Vault 7th/8thGirls Discus 7th/8th:
• Boys Shot Put 7th/8th: Girls High Jump 7th /8th:
• (Boys and Girls will then switch)

Pole Vault & High Jump starting heights will be decided during the coach's meeting.The lowest height available for Pole Vault is 6.
