Big 8 Track and Field Championships 

 Big 8 Conference Track Meet

• Tuesday,  May 2, 2023   

  Final entries will be noon May 2nd Registration will be on MoMile

  Electronic Timing Provided by Chris Essick - Ozark Racing Systems 

  Buses can park north of the stadium on the grass or west of the stadium in the parking lot

  Coaches Meeting:  3:00 in the Fieldhouse (South end of the stadium) 

  Javelin will begin @ 3:15 (West of the Fieldhouse)  boys first - followed by girls

  Implement weigh in will begin @ 2:30 (in front of the Fieldhouse)

  Field events @  4:15 sharp

  Boys High Jump

  Boys Triple Jump

  Boys Shot

  Girls Pole Vault

  Girls Long Jump

  Girls Discus

  Running events @ 4:30

  Entry dead line is May 2nd 9am 
  2 individuals per event/1 relay team

• Fast heats last

• Verified performances

  Girls will precede boys in running events

  Scoring System:  10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1  (Top 8 finishers)

  Entry Fee:  $200/School to pay for race management 

  Coaching boxes will be in use - North and south end zones (running and jumping events) Throws will be marked with cones and flags

  We will host a coaches meeting in the bullpen to nominate the athletes and coaches of the year.
