Attention: Athletic Directors and Cross Country Coaches
You are invited to the 36th annual Potosi Invitational Cross Country Meet that will take place on Saturday, October 9th, 2010. This meet usually has 25-30 schools competing in both High School and Middle School race divisions.
Again this year entries will be done online at http://mo.milesplit.us. Go to this website and click on Potosi Inv. Online entry and it will guide you through the entry process. You may also mail your entry fee or bring it with you on the day of the meet. MAAA conference schools are reminded this invitational will double as the conference meet this year. There is no extra entry fee for the MAAA meet and athletes will be able to win medals in both the Potosi Invitational and Conference meet.

Course: High School-5,000 meters
Middle School-1.9 miles

1. Varsity Boys Race(Top 7 runners only)-11:00 A.M.
2. High School Girls Race(unlimited entries)-11:30 A.M.
3. J.V. Boys Race(unlimited entries)-Noon
4. Middle School Boys(unlimited entries)-12:30 P.M.
5. Middle School Girls(unlimited entries)-1:00 P.M.

Awards- First and Second place trophies or plaques will be given in the Varsity and Middle School races. First place award to winning J.V. Boys team. The highest placing 1A-2A school will receive a trophy in both Varsity races. If a 1A-2A school is in the top two overall, then the next highest small school will receive the award. Medals will be given to the top 30 finishers in the Varsity Boys and Middle School Boys and Girls races, with 40 medals awarded to the Varsity Girls race since there is not a J.V. Girls race. The top 20 in the J.V. Boys race will receive medals as well.
T-Shirts - Please inform your runners that Potosi Invitational long sleeve T-Shirts will be on sale for $17.
Concession Stand- A concession stand operated by the Potosi Cross Country Parents will be available at the meet.
Entry Fee- $100.00 for all 5 race divisions or $25.00 for each race division. 5 dollars for individuals (less than 5 runners on a team). We look forward to your participation if possible.
