BOB CRADDOCK INVITATIONAL

GENERAL MEET INFORMATION

Date: Saturday, September 3, 2011 Make-up Date: Tuesday, September 7, 2011

Race Distance: Two-miles all divisions

Time Schedule and Order of Events
7:15 to 7:30 a.m. - Packet Pick-Up 8:45 a.m. Girls race
7:45 a.m. Coaches Meeting 9:45 a.m. Awards Ceremony
8:00 a.m. Boys race

Site: Swope Park Starlight Theatre course, 6601 East Swope Parkway, Kansas City, MO

Entry Procedure: It is not necessary for coaches to submit pre-entries. We will utilize place cards that
each runner will receive as they leave the finish chute. It is important for coaches to
fill out these place cards as quickly as possible, so official results may be compiled
as soon as possible.

Entry Fee: $100 per school (with 15 or more runners) or $60 per school (with 14 to 6 runners) or $10
per individual for schools with five or fewer runners participating in the meet. Entry
fee checks should be made payable to Northeast High School (mailing address: 415
South Van Brunt Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64124) and must be paid prior to the
day of the meet.

Entry Limitations: Unlimited entry will be allowed in the all divisions - but the only top seven finishers
will be utilized in the team scoring..

Individual Awards: Boys and girls divisions medals - top 50 finishers

Team Awards: Boys and girls divisions trophies and team medals to top three teams

Team Scoring: The total time of the five finishers for each school or team will be utilized as the basis
for team scoring rather than the traditional of adding of place finishers.

Water Spray/Heat Guidelines: Meet officials will utilized a water spray on a course if the temperature is
above 80 degrees. Meet officials also will follow all guidelines with regard to excessive heat
that are outlined by the Missouri State High School Activities Association and National Federation
of High School Activities Associations.

Meet Named After: The meet has been named in honor of former Raytown South and Lees Summit cross
country coach Bob Craddock. Craddocks 1970 Raytown South boys team was the first Kansas
City area team and second team outside of the St. Louis area to win a state cross country champ-
ionship since the meet started in 1944. He also directed numerous cross country meets at the
Swope Park meet, assisted other coaches, and started a middle school cross country program in
the Lees Summit School District. He was inducted into the Missouri Track and Cross Country
Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1995.

Results: Results will be e-mailed to coaches and interested media on the day of the meet following
the completion of the meet and the awards ceremony. Coaches may inspect and/or have
access to any of the official results prior to leaving the meet site.
