14. Blake Selm - Parkway West - SR: According to the young man from Ballwin, when he took the right turn and headed for the finish line, Selm thought he was in 26th. He made a pass, but found himself in 26th as he crossed the line due to a miscount. It was an unfortunate November day for the highly touted Longhorns across the board, but Selm leads a very strong group of returners for Parkway West this season. With personal bests abound his junior year (4:31, 9:49.9, and 16:10) to go along with his 16:15 on the state course, he appears poised to bring home some hardware this season and probably lead his Longhorns to the top of the podium.
