A common theme among the lower classes so far, Steelville also returns their entire top 5 scorers from last year. The Cardinals are in a tough district and will have to have a strong showing from their top 4 boys in particular, specifically Garrett Becker and his 17:29 personal best. He is the only rising senior on a very young squad and, even if they don't get the job done this year, they could be a sneaky pick for a podium spot in 2018. They'll be looking to make their first trip to the state meet of this millennium as they haven't been since 1999.
