This is definitely a first for us in these preseason rankings articles, but Goldfarb deserves attention heading into track season. After taking home the victory in Class 3 this fall, Goldfarb probably did deserve some due in the 800, but definitely will get a spot in our 1600 rankings. The Burroughs freshman actually enters this season with the fastest 1600 in Class 3 (if you go off the 1500-1600 converter), but we have her 2nd for now. She will, after all, have to compete with a 9-time state champion and the reigning champ in this event...
