Natalie White (Lafayette - Wildwood)


Q: What was your most memorable race/moment? 

A: Winning Henle Holmes for the first time my junior year, I never expected to win such a high caliber race, though Parkway Central's track has always been my lucky track. 



Q: Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
A: My friend and fellow competitor, Ja'nia Lewis of Eureka.
 
Q: What was your greatest accomplishment?
A: Being undefeated in the 300m hurdles all season until state this year. 


Q: If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
A: I would have gone to my out of season track club, Ultimate Speed Academy. 

Q: What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
A: Spraining my ankle the night before State and again the night before Junior Olympics, thus having to go through rehab over the fall season instead of training. 


Q: What will you miss the most?
A:  My track friends and being able to see their successes at track meets. 


Q: What advice would you give to younger athletes?
A: I emplore younger athletes to go to out of season track. Not only will your performances improve, but the friends you will make will be worth more than anything. 


Q: What influence has your coach had with respect to your performance and overall life goals?
A: He inspired me to live the phrase "be so good, they can't ignore you."


Q: What are your college plans?
A: I plan to attend University of British Columbia in the fall. 


Q: Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?
A: I would like to thank my coaches Glenn Norwood, and Bobbi Torbert, I couldn't have done any of it without them. 



Q: What was the funniest thing that happened during your running career?
A: It has to do with Devin Meyrer, Alec Haines, and Anna West driving a car
