What was you most memorable meet or race?
My most memorable meet is a tie between the Big River/Mizzou Indoor Championship meet and the Class 3-4 State Meet because they were the meets with my biggest competition and the most important to my high school carreer.
Who was your biggest competition?
My biggest comptetition has definitely been myself because there has not always been other vaulters jumping as high as I was and so I had to push myself in order to get better
Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
Out of all of my High School accomplishments, I think the one that stands out the most is being the Class 3 State champion because that has been my goal since I started Pole Vaulting.
If you could do it all over again is there anything you would change?
If I could do it all over again I would most definitely change this years weather! Frost on the PV mats is never a good thing!
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
The most difficult obstacle I had to overcome would definitely be the weather how it seemed to change at the drop of a hat and always seemed to be at its worst on the day of the meet.
What will you miss the most?
I will definitely miss the freinds I have made along the way and the freinds and coaches who have always been helping me through my high school career
Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
If I were to give advice to younger athletes I would definitely say take advantage of every meet and every opportunity you get to race/jump/throw, listen to ALL advice that is given to you even if you dont agree with it listen! because you never know if the advice might help you, and have fun!
What are your college plans?
I will be Pole Vaulting at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC)

I would like to thank all of the coaches, freinds and family who have supported me and helped me along the way and to those people who you dont neccessarily know who they are but they always give you some uplifting words when youve had a bad day and you need it most!
