My most memorable meet/race was state my Junior year when teammate Kaleb Wilson and I finished 1st and 2nd. On top of that our team ended up winning the state title that year.
Who was your biggest competition?
My biggest competition is myself.
Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
My high school accomplishment that stand out the most is finishing my Senior career with 2 Individual State Championships (one in the 3200 at State Track and the other at State Cross County) and also breaking 3 school records that have been there for more than 20 years.
If you could do it all over again is there anything you would change?
The thing that I would change would be running track my Freshman year instead of playing Baseball.
What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
The most difficult obstacles I had to over come were self confidence.
What will you miss the most?
I will miss my teammates the most and I will also miss all of my classmates and the support they gave me.
Do you have any advice for younger athletes?
Advice I have for younger athletes is, never doubt yourself and always listen to what you coach is telling you. Also, listen to your body.
What are your college plans?
I am attending Missouri Southern State University. I will run Cross Country and Track. GO LIONS!
