Amos Bartlesmeyer, former state champ from MICDS, has had quite the start to his sophomore track season at Georgetown. Last week he recorded the 6th fastest time in Division I in the 3K, 8:00.25. This week he anchored the Hoya's DMR squad at the Penn State National Meet. He overtook Robby Creese, a 3:57 miler, in the final 50 meters to lead his team to victory against the Nittany Lions. Their time of 9:28 becomes the fastest in the nation, topping Oregon.
