10. Ben Burnett - Lee's Summit West - SR: Ever so quietly in a not-so-quiet overall program, Ben Burnett has made himself a commanding presence on the boys side of the Lee's Summit West juggernaut. While the girls have been busy destroying everyone in their path, Burnett has been moving up in his own right. He posted a 16:01 at last year's state cross country meet - good enough for 13th - and is the 11th fastest returner. He's also posted solid 4:27 and 9:35 bests on the track and took 14th in the Class 5 3200 this past spring. Burnett looks like a strong pick for a top 10 finish this year.
