7. Cole Stephens - Linn - JR: Linn has been a strong presence in Class 2 throughout the years and Stephens looks to carry on that tradition. He ran a 17:05 PR at the state meet in 2016 to grab 9th after winning Class 2 District 4. He was 17th as a freshman. Stephens is a jack of all trades in the sprints and field in the Spring, but used his distance base to roll a 2:01 800 for 6th in Class 2. He could be as high as 5th on this list, but we have him slotting in at 7 for now with the expectation he moves up as the season wears on.
