Mariah was a victim of a fast District last year as her time of 12.96 in finals at Districts was only enough for 5th place. However, 3 out of 4 people who finished in front of her have since graduated. Her PR of 12.93 would've been good enough for 8th place last year, so I'd say she's a solid pick to medal this Spring.
5. Grace Culver, Sophomore
Hartville
PR: 12.81
After a 7th place finish in the 100m and a 6th place finish in the 200m as a freshman last year, Grace will look to drop some time and climb the medal stand. Another year of training and maturity should allow her to do just that, and that's why I've picked her here at 5.
