Morris put the shot 40-0.5 for the Sectional 1 title, but fell short at the state meet to take 12th there. Her postseason was strong as she put up 37-38 foot numbers at AAU and USATF meets and the Great Southwest Classic. She also has a top 5 returning mark in the discus and may have kicked off a strong high school career last year.
