6. Caleb Crawford - Skyline, SR
PR - 45-11 (2016)
Crawford gets a bump up to 6th on our list with his 45-11 personal best from 2016 and his trips to the state meet. He has thrown four times at the state meet and only gotten one medal (6th in the discus last spring), but his consistency in the high 45s gives us reason to think he will land on the medal stand this spring in the shot put.
5. Robert Wilson - Malden, SR
PR - 46-5
Wilson threw at 2 meets last season: District and Sectional. His 46-5 mark got him 3rd at District, but he was unable to replicate that throw at Sectional 1 - it would have gotten him to state and on the podium. With such a small sample size, it is hard to rank Wilson much higher than 5th at the moment, but if he gets some more throws under his belt, he could move up even higher on our list.
