Roth blew up in cross country this fall (in a good way). She was the #1 on the Class 4 state champion Park Hill South team, finishing 7th individually in 18:59, and turned in an 18:26 personal best at the KC XC Classic. But her cross country break out was not necessarily out of the blue as she has 2:17/5:12/11:46 personal bests on the track. Her 2:17.26 best in the 800 got her 5th overall last year and she now enters as one of the favorites to take down the behemoth that is ahead of her on this list.
