Poole almost had it last year, but was just edged by our #1. She could very well be the #1 in this event as it is a bit of a toss up at the moment. In two years of running, she already has two medals in the 800 (8th and 2nd). She has one medal in cross country from her 19:58 personal best and has run 5:32 in the 1600 so watch for Poole to take another shot at the top of the podium this spring.
