Nathan Ford was a major player for New Haven's state championship team this fall as he took 18th and improved his 5K personal best to 17:17. Now he hits the track where his 2:00.05 has him as the closest one to 2:00 in Class 1 and will enter the season as the favorite. Ford has also run 4:42, but he has had the most success in the 800. Watch for him to dip under 2:00 before too long and take gold this spring.
