Homfeldt returns to the track after a very successful first season of cross country. She was 17th at Oak Hills this fall and will look to improve upon her 3rd place finish from last year's state meet 800m run. She added district and sectional titles to her 3rd place state medal and looks strong to take home gold this May. But she is not a runaway favorite; the challengers listed before her are not so far behind.
