Max McDaniel (Festus)
Last
year's Runner Up in Class 3, Max will look to reach the summit and earn
his a State Title this Fall. He has the fastest returning time in Class
3 by 31 seconds so he'll be a heavy favorite. On the Track he was
All-State as well, posting a 4:19 1600m at State which was good enough
for 4th place in Class 4. We'll be keeping an eye out for Max leading
the pack at State.
Colton Palmer (Warrensburg)
Colton Palmer comes into this season off of a 4th place finish at State a year ago. He ran his PR of 16:17 in that race, and that's the third fastest returning time in Class 3. He had a very successful Track Campaign as well, running 9:20 at State which placed him third in Class 4. Look for Colton be up front this Fall.
Jack Crull (Helias Catholic)
Last year Jack was the first sophomore to finish at State, placing 5th overall. The 16:22 he ran there is the 4th fastest returning time in Class 3 as well. He then went on to have a stellar Track season in the Spring. He placed third in both the 1600m and 800m at State in Class 4 with a 4:17 and 1:55 respectively. With the big improvements he saw this Spring, look for him to compete for the title this season.
Blake Morris (Notre Dame - Cape Girardeau)
Blake had a breakout sophomore season last year. He placed 8th at State, and his PR of 16:25 is the 6th fastest returning time in Class 3. He continued to show improvement on the Track in the Spring, as he dropped 40 seconds off of his 3200m time. Look for Blake to have another strong finish this season.

at State which placed him 6th in Class 3.

Benton took 9th at State a year ago and will look to improve upon that finish this year. His 16:39 PR is the ninth fastest returning time in Class 3 as well. He dropped significant time in both his 1600m and 3200m times in Spring so he should be a candidate to see a lot of improvement this fall.
Michael Rebello (Excelsior Springs)
As the 13th place finisher a year ago, Michael will look to follow it up with another All-State performance this year. He ran his PR of 16:49 at State, and he'll likely be able to drop some time this year. He had a great Track season as well, taking 8th place in the Class 4 3200m with a time of 9:30. Look for Michael to be racing near the front of the field this Fall.

has been All-State in each of the last two seasons, placing 15th in
2016 and 21st last year. He holds a PR of 16:33 which he set in 2016 and
