Class 1's Top 3200m Runners to Watch in 2019

14 of 16 Boys return in the Class 1 Boys 3200m, including 6 State Medalists. However, State Champion Easton Sabala is not one of them after graduating.

That leaves a highly competitive field running for the State title this year. Five of the returning medalists were also top 10 in XC this year, including State Champion Chase Ratliff. Jesse Schultz was the highest finisher a year as the Runner Up, and has the fastest returning time in Class 1 with a 9:54 and thus I'll dub him the favorite. However, Max Davies (9:55), Evan Smith (9:56), Chase Ratliff (10:05), and Preston Thomas (10:07) all could end up with a shot to win it this year. Below you can find my subjective rankings and honorable mentions in the Class 1 Boys 3200m.
