A: most memorable race was 2018 track state when I ran the 1600m. First time I'd ever been to state and I all-stated. Got to run with my friends and twin too
Q: What was the funniest thing that happened during your running career?
A: funniest moment had to be the creation of the Jag-Pirates during 2017-18 indoors.
Q: Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?
A: biggest competition for these 4 years without a doubt was my twin bro, Lucas
Q: What was your greatest accomplishment?
A: All-State in the 1600m
Q: If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?
A: I would've started running indoors earlier
Q: What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
A: during my junior xc season I blacked out like 3 times in races and just having to fight to bounce back to that was super tough.
Q: What will you miss the most?
A: I'm definitely gonna miss long runs with friends and my bro
Q: What advice would you give to younger athletes?
A: biggest piece of advice I have is to train super hard in both summer and winter. And find people to run with. Training alone sucks
Q: What kind of an impact has your coach had on you and your team?
A: coach Simmons has made a huge impact. Pattonville went from qualifying no one to sections in 2013 to now having multiple state qualifiers and all-staters.
Q: What are your college plans?
A: gonna be running cross and track at Murray State University along with studying nutrition and dietetics
Q: Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?
A: biggest thank you to Micah Thompkins who's the only reason I kept running after freshman xc. He taught me how to be a leader and to be straight up with people
