Q: What does your training look like right now given the current situation?


A: To remain inside training for me mostly has been running on the treadmill along with some workouts Coach Linhart has given me


Q: What are you doing to stay busy other than run right now?


A:To stay busy I have been working more hours at my job along with playing on my PS4 and of course taking a few power naps


Q: What was your most memorable race/moment?


A:My most memorable race moment would be when I medaled this year at districts along with the trip the cross country team took to Columbia



Q: What was the funniest thing that happened during your running career?


A:The funniest thing that happen during my career would be when I got to run a soda mile with my teammates


Q: Who would you consider your biggest competition over your four years?


A:Over these past four years I would say my biggest competition has been my teammates Angel Rocha and Raeyvon Epperson


Q: What was your greatest accomplishment?


A:My greatest accomplishment is also my most memorable moment which is medaling at districts


Q: If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?


A:If I could change one thing I would start taking running more serious earlier on in my career along with taking a second to appreciate all the little things that happened throughout my career as a runner


Q: What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?


A:One of the most difficult obstacles I had to overcome was getting injured and working my way back to being healthy enough to run again.


Q: What will you miss the most?


A:The thing I will miss the most will definitely be my friends and all the fun we had before, during, and after practice


Q: What advice would you give to younger athletes?


A:Advice I would give younger runners would be to keep pushing and not to give up even if you aren't seeing the results you want to see at the beginning of your career


Q: What kind of an impact has your coach had on you and your team?


A:My coach has had a heavy impact on me and my team whether it's through the jokes we shared or the fact that he taught us to never give up


Q: Who would you like to say 'thank you' to?


A:I would like to say thank-you to my mom and dad for believing in me and my friends, coaches, and Fatima Flores for motivating me to get better and to keep trying
