Missouri Track's Top Returning Girls Distance Runners


In just a little over one week we will have results pouring in from around state as track season will have officially began. Today we are going to look at the top returning girls distance runners that are sure be at the top of those early season results. 

Keilah Wilkes (Pattonville) is the top returning girl in the 800m with a time of 2:16 from her all-state performance in 2019. Behind her is Kylie Goldfarb (John Burroughs) at 2:16, Makayla Clark (Lee's Summit West) at 2:17, Jasmyn Douglas (Republic) at 2:19, and Madelyn Gray (Ft. Zumwalt South), Mercedes Schroer (Christian), Delaney Straus (Marion County), and Erika Mellor (DeSoto) all at 2:20.

In the 1600m its Kylie Goldfarb (John Burroughs) who has the fastest returning time with a 5:08. She is followed by Olivia Littleton (Smithville) at 5:12, Ally Kruger (Liberty - Wentzville) at 5:13, and Marisa Jacknewitz (Nerinx Hall), Mercedes Schroer (Christian), and Macy Schelp (Lutheran South) all at 5:16.

Olivia Littleton (Smithville) is the top returner in the 3200m with a time of 11:20, followed by Ally Kruger (Liberty - Wentzville) at 11:21, Alicen Ashley (Nixa) at 11:30, Delaney Straus (Marion County) at 11:30, and Katelynn Quade (Marquette), Lucy Ndungu (Pattonville), and Kayla Voelker (Eureka) all at 11:33.
