For the first time since 2006, the state's largest classification had a tie for second place with Blue Springs and Lee's Summit West each scoring 46 points.

The two schools are both in the Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference Gold Division.

The trophy for Lee's Summit West is the sixth in a row and 13th overall.

Blue Springs earned the school's sixth state trophy and 2nd straight. Pattonville, was fourth with 44 points, winning the Lady Pirates a 4th trophy in school history All of Pattonville's trophies have come since 2018. Blue Springs tie for 2nd place came a year after taking 3rd.

Lee's Summit West and Cardinal Ritter were first or second in the 4x100, 4x200.

The West Lady Titans won the 4x200 and were runners-up in the 4x100, 4x400 and 4x800.

The 4x200-meter team of Alivia Tolbert, Sidney Cole, Mikah Scott and Chaniya Miller won in 1:38.90 - dropping almost two seconds from prelims. Tolbert, Whitney Farrington, Cole and Scott were on the 4x100 team that was second.

Makayla Clark, Farrington, Adee Broesder and Ryanne Wattree were second in the 4x400 in 3:55.93. Clark, Broesder, Madison Cross and Ella Cronhardt were on the 4x800 for Lee's Summit West that earned the silver medal in 9:28.98.

Pattonville secured titles in the 400 and 800. After transferring over from the now closed Trinity Catholic High, sophomore A'laji Bradley won the 400-meter dash for Pattonville and was third in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Junior Camryn Hubbard handily won the 800 in 2:12.05 ahead of Blue Springs' freshman Paige Stuart  who was 2nd in 2:13.70.
