Another week of cross country is behind us and the month of September is almost over.

That means we are in the final full month of the season as all eyes turn to conference races, before district competition later in October. The state meet is Nov. 4-5 at Gans Creek in Columbia.

Speaking of that course, the Gans Creek Classic was last week and we had three contributors there covering one of the state's biggest meets that isn't a state championship. Look for photos and videos this week.
