The boys' side this
year was dominated by Kansas runners, with those from the Sunflower
state taking six spots in the top 10 in the field.
The only two sub-16
minute times came from Kansas runners Colby King from St. Thomas
Aquinas and Carter Stewart from Olathe East.
Liberty's Peyton Willbanks was the first Missouri runner to finish, taking fourth in
16:03.70. Smithville's Liam Adair was right behind him and took
fifth in 16:07.20.

Willbanks actually
led early on in the race.
Rockhurst teammates
Brian Humphrey (eighth) and Henry Acorn (10th) also got
into the top 10 by running 16:20 - with Humphrey finishing 5/10th
of a second faster.
