The 300 meter hurdles is one event that has seen some impressive breakthrough performances from athletes across the state in 2025.

While two girls have dropped over 11 seconds in their 300 meter hurdle marks from last year, only one girl has dropped over 3 seconds to enter into the sub-50 club: North Point's Rylee Foster. Her teammate, Bonnie Swafford (pictured) also broke that barrier this season, and is already under 49 seconds after breaking 50 for the first time at the District meet last season.
