POLL: Missouri Boys XC Runner of the Week (Oct. 9-15)


The cross-country season is in full swing season and the times across the state are showing that. 

Below are the top boys performances from the past week around Missouri. The winner will be crowned the Missouri Boys Runner of the Week for Oct. 9-15.

Polling starts on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 12 p.m. CT and ends on Thursday at 12 p.m.

Michael Kershaw, Northwest Cedar Hill
The junior took fifth place at the Suburban Conference Yellow Division race on Saturday and his time of 16:48.10 set a new school record.

Kai Foster, Fulton
Foster ran 17:24.62 to take first place at the North Central Missouri Conference meet held on Oct. 14 at Fulton. It was the third win of the year for the senior.

Ben Chance, Bowling Green 
The senior broke the school record with a time of 15:25.31 at the Eastern Missouri Conference meet on Saturday in Kingdom City. The Bobcats won the meet title as well, the 23rd time in the past 24 years. 

Robert Humphries, Southwest Washburn​​​​​​​
At the Diamond Invitational on Tuesday, the Trojans had a 1-2 finish and the senior won in 17:46.76. It was his second win of the year and he's now had five top-four finishes in 2023.
