Webster Groves' seniors Dominic Buckman (right) and Corbin Cole (center left) race Lincoln College Prep seniors Aidan Kemnitzer (center right) and Roman Garcia (back left) in the Varsity Boys Green Race. Buckman and Cole placed 9th and 11th to lead the Statesmen to a 3rd place finish while Garcia and Kemnitzer were 15th and 21st as the Tigers placed 8th. Both schools won Class 4 State Trophies in 2023 with Lincoln College Prep taking 3rd and Webster Groves taking 4th.


Rockhurst freshman Jack McGovern (right) and Lincoln College Prep junior Koen Tenjack lead a trail of runners 250 meters from the finish. McGovern wasn't just the top freshman finisher in the race, but was the top underclassman, taking 13th in 16:01 to finish 3rd on Rockhurst and help the Hawklets place 2nd as a team.


Parkway Central freshman Lucas Amador (left) leads John Burroughs senior Charles Glatz (center back) and Benton (IL)'s Cole Buchanan. Buchanan finished 16th in 16:04 while Amador was 17th in 16:06 and Glatz 19th.


Ladue freshman William Laurine sprints to the finish line for a 4th place finish in the Varsity Boys White Race in 17:39.


Recovering from an illness, Fulton senior Noah Combs races to a 33rd place finish and teammate Kaden Kleindienst (back) a 35th place finish in the Varsity White race to help the Hornets to place 5th out of 22 scoring teams. In May, Combs won a drawing for free shoes for himself and teammates at the HOKA Festival of Miles.

St. Louis Blue Knights' Victoria Riggs kicks to the finish to claim the Girls Middle School 3K title in 12:27.8.

El Examinador (The Inspector), a 1783 Spanish cannon that was turned over to the US Army at Santiago, Cuba following the Spanish-American War of 1898, sits in Forest Park after it was presented to the City of Saint Louis in 1900.
