Salute To Seniors: Drew White - Festus

What was your most memorable race?

My most memorable race is probably the Arcadia Invitation when I ran a 9:04 3200, and I consider it my biggest competition.

Out of all of your high school accomplishments which stands out the most?

The accomplishment that stands out most to me is helping a state powerhouse team the past 3 years.

If you could do it all over again what would you change about your running career in high school?

When I look back at it I wouldn't do anything different; I did the best I could and that's all I could have done.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?

The most difficult obstacle I had to overcome was the fear of racing and the pressure it had on me.

What will you miss the most?

I am going to miss my awesome teammates and coach the most; I wouldn't have gotten here without them.

Do you have any advice for younger athletes?

Advice I have for younger athletes is go hard or die trying.

What are your college plans?

I plan to run for the University of Missouri this fall.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

I would like to say thank you to my parents, Coach Wright, and my teammates.  They are always there for me and have put up with me the last 4-18 years.
