Meet Information
2017 FESTUS JANIS WILLIAMS INVITATIONAL
Please let all your parents admission is $3 for adults and $2 for kids. There are no parents allowed on the field or track. They must watch all of events from the stands or from the top of the hill at the long and triple jump. We will ask them one time as a reminder then the participating athletes from that school will be scratched from there event.
IF you need help with entries please dont hesitate to email me or call me.
Entries are limited to two participants per event. T-shirts will be awarded for first through third in individual events and 1 place relay teams. Plaques will be awarded for first through third place teams. The entry fee will be $150.00 per boys team/$150.00 per girls team or $300.00 for both to be paid before or on the day of the meet.
All athletes are allowed in a maximum of four events, with a maximum of three of those being running events.
The open 1200 will not be electronically timed. Coaches will be responsible for their own athletes times.
All entries will be entered online utilizing Mo Mile Split. See the attached sheet for submitting entries online. The deadline for submitting entries online is Wed, March 22nd 2017 at 10:00 p.m. Please print out your submission form and bring to the meet. No faxed entries will be accepted.
A brief coaches meeting will begin at 2:45 p.m. in the track shed located at the northeast corner of the track. You will be allowed to only make scratches, no additions. Please review the attached starting times for field events. Please submit your best times and distances.
Coaches and Athletic Directors
THURSDAY The buses will need to come in the lower gate by the track and drop their athletes off there. The buses then should continue back to Sunshine towards West City Park. Park on the left in the big parking lot until 4PM or after at West City. Once it is 4PM they will be able to move to the back parking lot of the high school.
No one will be allowed to park behind the Elementary until after 4PM. Once all of our buses carrying our students have left for their routes that lot will be opened to the public.

Running Event: Girls first, followed by the boys; start at 4:00
*Open 1200 Middle school (no points, for athletes not entered in other events, unlimited entries.) No points, not awarded, and not FAT timed Start Time 4:00

Coaches, please instruct your athletes of the following rules for our track and field areas:
1.) Please no throwing the discus/shot put on the turf
2.) Please no planting of pole vault poles on the turf
3.) Please no sunflower seeds
4.) Please no gum
5.) Please pick-up trash around the stadium in your area
6.) Please check the spike length on all athletes
7.) Please no climbing/jumping on the fence
8.) Only coaches and participating athletes on the infield, behind the yellow line.
9.) Only coaches may dispute a race or result. Please no athletes in press box area.
10.) No playing catch or any other activities non track related on the infield.
11.) Please do not use starting blocks on the turf.
