Meet Information
On Saturday, September 21, 2019 Cape Girardeau Central High School will hold its annual Cross Country Invitational Meet at Central High School 1000 South Silver Springs Road
NEW THIS YEAR!
We will be running Varsity and JV together in the same race. Varsity and JV Places and times will be separated by the electronic timers. This will NOT affect Varsity or JV results. Awards will be given as listed below, by JV and Varsity. Because of this, it is IMPERATIVE THAT RUNNERS ARE REGISTERED IN THE CORRECT DIVISION WHEN COACHES REGISTER THEIR TEAMS ONLINE Entries are due by Monday, September 16, 2019.
TIME: 8:30 AM Coaches Meeting
9:00 AM Jr High Boys & Girls
9:30 AM High School Boys (Varsity and JV)
10:30 AM High School Girls (Varsity and JV)
Varsity= Top 7 Runners
Junior Varsity= Unlimited Entries
LOCATION: Cape Central High School, 1000 South Silver Springs Road, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703.
DISTANCE: ALL races 5K except Jr. High Boys/Girls, approx. 1.5 miles
SPIKES: Due to part of the race being run on our track and artificial turfed football field we ask
that your athletes refrain from using spikes longer that 1/8 inch.
AWARDS: Varsity Boys & Girls (2 team trophies and 20 Boys/ 20 Girls medals); Junior Varsity
Boys & Girls (1 team trophy and 20 Boys/ 20 Girls medals); Junior High (1 team
trophy and 15 Boys/ 15 Girls medals)
ENTRY FEE: $200.00 per school or $50.00/team (Ex. Junior High Boys or Varsity Girls)
