The Parkway Central Colts captured the Green Pool Title at the 2024 St. Louis Suburban PHSAAA Championship in St. Charles Saturday, October 19 at McNair Park. The Class 4 squad did it with one of the state's top freshmen fighting through 5,000 meters while battling illness for two weeks and not having recovered all of his strength. The Colts got their usual strong finish from their returning All-Staters in Alexander Moresi and Brenan Alfonso as the seniors placed 5th and 8th in the overall conference competition and while fellow senior Beckett Friedman set a PR running 16:41 to place 20th overall and make it a 1-2-3 sweep of the Green pool's Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.Amador battled to a 48th place finish in 17:31, good for 7th in the green pool, while Lucas Padratzik was 10th in the Green Pool and 62 overall to give the Colts 142 points overall and just 23 in the Green Pool for the 5th and 1st place finishes.
