A kick in the final 200 meters gave Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau) sophomore Martina Ressel the victory in a duel with Joplin's Ava Doll, who bested her the week before at the Missouri Southern Stampede. Ressel won in 18:12.9 while Doll was 2nd in the Varsity Girls Gold Division Race in 18:17.4.
Providence Classical Christian Academy senior Gabbie Bishop and her sophomore sister Maggie Bishop talk after their 1-3 finish at the 2025 Gans Creek Classic Elite Twilight Race where Gabbie set a course record in 16:59.9 while Maggie ran 17:43.5 to lead their team to a 5th place finish in the field of 32 teams in the night time race.
