12. Trenton Wells - Buffalo - SR: A 16:38 on the state course netted Trenton Wells a 17th place medal in 2016. It was only his second sub-17 of his career, but he made it count and looks poised to continue his run up the leaderboard in Class 3. Wells turned in personal bests on the track of 4:41 in the 1600 and 10:04 in the 3200 and is the 18th fastest returner in Class 3, but gets the extra boost from his performance at the state meet.
