2022 MSHSAA Class 4 Boys Championship recap


Festus finished with three all-staters, led by senior Ian Schram's runner-up finish. The trophy was the 14th in a row for the Tigers.

Traditional power West Plains was third, meaning trophy No. 37 headed back to south-central Missouri. Carson King and Hoyt Stiner finished back-to-back in 31st and 32nd for the Zizzers.

Farmington, led by Evan Fuller's 22nd-place showing, took fourth to take home the school's first cross country trophy.

The top 10 featured three runners from the Kansas City area, led by junior Isaac Rivera from Lincoln College Prep. He was fourth, followed shortly behind by Smithville's Liam Adair.

In eighth place was Platte County's Andrew Johnson.

The rest of the 10 ten was rounded out by Rolla's Cameron Martensen, one of two freshmen to earn all-state honors. Willard's Nolan Hansen placed ninth and Central (Cape Girardeau) got a 10th-place finish from Ryan Seabaugh.
