The Big River Running Company hosted the first in a series of three High School indoor meets on Saturday, January 16th at the Hearnes Fieldhouse in Colimbia, Missouri. The next meet will take place on Sunday, January 31st at Hearnes Fieldhouse as well. HS Girls Highlights
Grandview's Sydnee Micthell's time of 59:54 in the 400 m dash earned a second place finish on Saturday behind Wensel Payton of Linn-Marr HS in Iowa. Sydnee also was the State runner-up in 2015 Class 4 Outdoor to Maya Cody's 55.60. Sophomore Kaitlyn Lewis of Liberty finished 3rd with a 59.57. Lewis finishes 2nd in the 2015 Class 5 Outdoor State Meet.
Parker Fane of St. James
2015 Class 2 800 and 1600 State Champion Parker Fane ran a 2:21 in the 800 m run on Saturday at the Hearnes Fieldhouse.
Khristen Bryant of Columbia Independent and Jordan Banker of Rock Bridge finished 1-2 in the Pole Vault with vaults of 11'11.75" and 11'5.75" respectively. 
Sophia Rivera of Brentwood
Sophia Rivera completed a busy week that consisted of 4 basketball games for Brentwood High School and concluded her week by throwing 48'8.75" in the shot put on Saturday.
