7. Victor Mugeche (Blue Springs)
Victor comes into the Outdoor season as the XC State Champ and top returner in Class 5 for both the 1600m and 3200m. After running a 9:04 3200m equivalent in the 2 mile at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Meet last weekend, he's coming into this season faster than ever. He'll have an outside shot a Austin Hindman's State Meet record of 8:54, but I think he'll be more focused on breaking 8:58. For those of you wondering, that's his brother Stephen Mugeche's High School PR and I'm sure he wants some dinner table bragging rights before joining his brother at MIZZOU.
6. Jaden Wiley (Kickapoo)
After bursting onto the Missouri Track Scene last year as a freshman, Jaden will look to follow it up with another jaw dropping season this year. Her PR in the 300mH of 43.26 is already the 13th fastest time in state history, and she has THREE MORE YEARS. Alongside her State Championship in the 300mH, she also was 4th in the 100mH with very fast 14.66. The sky is the limit for Jaden, and I'm really pumped to see her kill it this year.
