Class 4 #2 Ginger Murnieks seems to be the heavy favorite heading into the District 6 Meet at Ray-Pec. Her 18:12 is 20 seconds faster than the fast Ray-Pec trio of Miranda Dick (18:32), Makenzie Stucker (18:38), and Marissa Dick (18:41). They all just ran against each other at the KC Suburban Gold Meet, and that was how they finished with all recording season bests.
Class 4 #1 Lee's Summit West is the favorite for the team title as well with a 33-49 advantage over Raymore-Peculiar in the virtual meet as well, including all 7 runners in the top 13. Carl Junction (90.5) and Webb City (101) will look to secure Sectional births as well with their closest challenger being Carthage (166).
