Class 4 District 8
The squads of District 8 will head out to Jesse James Park in Kearney for their meet on Saturday. The hands down favorite for the individual crown is Madelynn Hill of Liberty. Maddie has the number one time in the State of Missouri this year with an 18:08, and has yet to lose to a Missourian this year. I don't think that'll change this week.
In terms of the team title for District 8, Central (St. Joseph) has the paper advantage with 63 points, followed by St. Teresa's (76) and Liberty North (83). Crosstown rivals Park Hill and Park Hill South will square off for the last Sectional spot with Park Hill holding a 115-129 advantage over the Defending State Champions.
