Class 3's Top 1600m Runners to Watch in 2019

The Class 3 Boys race is pretty stacked, seeing 10 State Qualifiers and 5 State Medalist Returning led by Defending State Champion Brandon Miller.

The 800m Phenom showed that he's got some range last year as he ran a 4:23 to capture the the State Title. He'll be the heavy favorite again this year, and I think we'd have to see something spectacular to see him knocked off. Class 2 State XC Champion Kolin Overstreet of Lamar will lead the challengers with a PR of 4:25, and was the 4th place finisher at State a year ago. He saw very strong improvements during XC and will look to carry that momentum with him on the Track this Spring. All-Staters Bryson Coulter, Jonathon Coffman and Carson Sanders also return and should be up front with the leaders as well to compete for a top 3 spot on the podium.Below you can find the full subjective rankings and honorable mention for the Class 3 Boys 1600m.
