The Dexter boys won the 4x400 in 3:31.69 after their Class 3 leading 3:29.28 the week before. Union took second with a 3:31.79 after a big anchor leg from Bryson Pickard, after his PR in the 800 earlier. Union sits 5th on the Class 4 state performance list with a 3:29.92. East Newton was 3rd in 3:33.39 to put them 4th in Class 3.

 

After a runner-up finish in the open 400, Dexter sophomore Anistin Kyle anchors the Bearcats to victory in the 4x400 in 3:31.69. Dexter sits atop the state Class 3 performance list with their season best of 3:29.28 from the week before.


Potosi senior Anita McCaul swept the hurdles, winning the 100-meter event in 15.67 and the 300s in 46.57. Hillsboro sisters Maya and Emily Wright went 2-3 in the hurdle races. Senior Maya clocked 15.85 and 47.90 while freshman Emily finished in 16.70 and 49.19. Big brother Sam won the Class 4 300-meter hurdles and 200-meter dash at the state track meet last year before heading off to compete at Missouri S&T.

 

Potosi senior Anita McCaul races to victory in a top-25 state time of 46.57 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles. McCaul did the same in winning the 100-meter hurdles in a state top-25 time of 15.67.
