In addition that that historical team moment, senior Josh Allison won the race in 15:38.9 - becoming the first Hawk to win the cross country title and ninth champion overall for the school.

"I've been dreaming about this since eighth grade and it means the world, especially having my team behind me," Allison said. "I'm so proud of my team. We all went out there and did better than I thought any of us would. It is amazing to have a group of guys there to have each other's back and take home a trophy."

The Hawks had two others in the top team - Jonah Allison took third and Jimmy Mann was sixth. Gavin Vaughn (12th) and Landon Pogue (15th) rounded out five runners that count for the team scores - giving them all all-state medals.
