West Plains coach Alicia Gunter speaks to sophomores Hoyt Stiner (left) and Kyler Gunter after the 3200-meters. Gunter finished 3rd in 9:55 and Stiner 10th in 10:16. The finishes put the pair 8th and 27th on the state sophomore 3200 performance list. There was no indication at the meet whether Kyler's performance eaned him a temporary reprieve from chores by his mom and coach.
