POLL: Missouri Girls XC Runner of the Week (Oct. 16-22)

The cross-country season is in full swing season and the times across the state are showing that. 

Below are the top girls performances from the past week around Missouri. The winner will be crowned the Missouri Boys Runner of the Week for Oct. 16-22.

Polling starts on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 12 p.m. CT and ends on Friday at 12 p.m.

Riley Linville, Ft. Zumwalt West
​​​​​​​The senior picked up her second win in three October races by taking first at the Clayton Invitational on Friday, running 19:53.60. The Jaguars finished first in the team standings too.

Lauren Berhorst, Fatima 
Running in her home meet in Westphalia, the senior picked up a win by nine seconds - holding off teammate Brie Massman - to secure her first win of the season in 21:16.32.

Julia Pattison, West Platte
A returning all-stater, the senior won the Richmond Invitational in 20:30.90 on Wednesday, dominating the race and having a margin of victory over nearly two minutes. It was her seventh top-10 finish of the year. 

Emma Belk, Springfield Catholic
The sophomore picked up a win at the Big 8 Conference Championship on Oct. 17 at 21:09.48. It was her second straight win of the season and both have come in Cassville.
